Welcome to the home of Treen Corner.  Here I hope to share my enthusiasm for the ancient art of woodturning.  Within these pages you will find a brief history of the craft, photographs of some of my work and my favourite links connected to woodturning.

I have only been turning for a relatively short period and am constantly learning new skills and techniques.  Please feel free to browse the pictures of my work and criticise or compliment as you see fit.  The feedback pages/guestbook are there for this reason. If you feel you have a link that should be included, please leave the details and I'll consider placing it on the links page

The photograph above shows a small Mushroon together with a Three Captive Ring Baby Rattle.  Both these articles are turned from seasoned Yew, one of my favourite woods to work with.  The colours and grain of Yew lend themselves so well, in my view, to Wood-Turning that I just can't get enough of the stuff.

Beginning Wood-Turning

Before investing your hard-earned cash in top level equipment and tools, take a moment to look at some of the links.  Here you will find tool & equipment suppliers together with recommended reading on the subject, however, time spent in the company of a practised wood-turner is invaluable.
